Recycling, making a few larger seedling trays to obtain 1,500 cineraria plants for the front garden display.

Someone asked if $30 for the wheelbarrow, explained $30 is the cost of the paint alone.
But putting the pallets to other uses as well.

Why bother? Here's the reason.

With 5 saw cuts from the above pallet, a seedling tray.

The ends are on the end, with the slats going between the ends.

With pea straw plastic wrapper, but also a potting mix bag can be recycled.
To get these cells all neat and the same height, see this prev link, http://teatreegullydistrictgardenclub.blogspot.com.au/2014/03/cineraria-dont-like-their-roots-damaged.html

To hold the plastic pockets at the right gaps for the potting mix.

Potting mix added, and the little containers turned upside down so the potting mix is in the pockets/cells.

With the seedlings, missed on. About 81, but with a bit of extra planning, could have been 100.

With a handle. Perhaps could have made the uprights to support a tray above, for easy transporting in a car boot.

Foam boxes

Aluminum printing plate, this is a smaller press size plate, either a SM52 or a Komori 28.

Being planted out, with an insert from a prev year.
