A club member wrote in to say White Agapanthus were dug up from an address in the T.T.G. council area by plant thieves. To think, to lift out half a dozen of the larger type, one has to do a lot of spade work. Interesting to note, hydrangeas in large pots are not on the hit list. Perhaps since they require a lot more watering than Agapanthus. (Note, the picture isn't of the garden belonging to the house that had the plants taken for security reasons.
White Agapanthus are being dug up around the neighbourhood.

Close up of the white ones, on a full size plant, there is a lot of spade work.
