A possible childrens' party activity. Origami Peacock from food packaging.
To keep children entertained for perhaps 15 mins, they could make something out of the party food packaging.

Some other garden ornaments- with origami and a suitable plastic, should be able to D.I.Y.

(Also, having the Origami Peacock in a glass cabinet inhibits it from flying around the house, and making a mess.)
This took about 1hr to make, the one from 6 packets took longer, since had to stick the six together with tape.
