Cost to mow lawns with an Electric Lawn mower- front and back- 3cents

As the price of petrol is constantly increasing, we are gradually changing over to electric devices/appliances. 4/5/2014



As above, pictures on the right show 0.1kWh used to mow front and back lawns.
The cost of electricity is about 30c/kWh in Adelaide, 30c/kWh * 0.1kWh= 3c. - compare this to using a petrol lawn mower.
The cost just to start a car would be more than 3 cents, let alone the cost of driving a motor vehicle to the service station to fetch petrol for the lawn mower.

Regarding the electricity price, the price varies according to usage in our area.
