This blog post "http://teatreegullydistrictgardenclub.blogspot.com.au/2014/01/horse-and-cart-planter-box-wooden.html" has received the most visits, so some more wooden wheel barrow pictures.
(Let me know, if I should upload the pattern, that I drew up in 1999- it's in inches it's so old.)
Don't let the wheel put you off making one of these, email, or leave a comment, and I'll let you in on the secret. Just a low cost jig saw was needed for the cutting of the wood, including the wheel.
Ready to be handed out on Christmas Day 2001, made 5, here are 3.
Stocks in the barrow were grown from seed collected the year before. Branching stocks, called "Austral" Stocks. Can expect some doubles from seeds collected from singles. Now to find out how to check the seedlings to tell which are double, and which are single. Some say, the singles are the taller plants in the tray?
Amaranths - compare the size to the half wine barrel.
Spring Bulbs another
Rabbit Barrow-not Rabbit Burrow, nor Rabbit Borough. The eldest in this pic lives in Sydney now has a pet dog, so may not be able to have a pet rabbit.
Wood from a few pallets for making 5 wheel barrows, all free.
Bugs likes a lay down.
Tasteful picture of Mutley in his bath, after he ate the rabbit above, naughty boy Mutley.
