Seeds in a box.


A club members article.

Junior gardeners, 4 and 6 down the road wanted to grow sun flowers, didn't know which to pick from the  bird seed mix at the local supermarket pet section.



This seed box one of the daughters made for a girl guide badge came in handy.

1st Date Palm, Cassia Tree, Water Melon, Coffee, Barley, Linseed.

2nd Melaleuca, African Marigold, Bean, Panorama, Lupin.

3rd, Gum, Calendula, Zinnia, Broad Bean, Oats, Milo

4th Gum, Primula, Pumpkin, Sun Flower, Millet,

5th, Bottle Brush, Brussels, Carrot, Bean, Wheat, Salflower.

6th, Melaleuca, Cineraria, Radish, Poppy, Canola.

7th, Flame Tree, Nasturtium, Sweet Pea, Pea, Corn, Panican.


Another daughter, another seed box.

These are made with blasa wood, and cut out foam inserted as a plug.

Below, the daughters efforts also look nice on the mantle piece.
Notice an origami Peacock, and a Kangaroo clock.
